Keep paying what you can. Often consolidation loans offer longer terms and overall you end up paying even more back! Look at reducing your outgoings - check www.moneysupermarket.com for any bills that you can reduce for mortgages, car bills, utility bills etc. This is the only genuine web-site I would recommend and has helped me find innumerable savings. If you really MUST take out another loan: the ONLY place I would go is www.moneybackbank.co.uk This is run by Alliance & Leicester and offers the lowest interest deals. |

Go to the main and office and just say, "I'm done paying this." and if anyone tries bothering you, roundhouse kick to the jaw should take care of them. Trust me. |

I would avoid consolidation loans at all costs (pun unintended). You will be paying off the debt for years and they are a blatant ripoff. Try one of the High Street Banks or Building Societies. |

Have a look on http://www.moneysupermarket.com to compare rates.
I can tell you from my experience, Nationwide a good interest rate.
If you took a £4000 loan with Nationwide, over 5 years you would pay £91.19 a month, over 6 years you would pay £80.48 a month and over 7 years you would pay £72.96 a month.
The only way to pay less than £120 a month, is to take the loan over a longer period, which means you will end up paying more in interest.
Another option, which may be better for you if you can't afford to pay your monthly repayments, is to set up a debt management plan. Contact http://www.payplan.co.uk who offer this service free of charge and contact your creditors for you. |

I can't answer your question directly but I want to warn you that consolidating loans is not a good idea. It is safer to have a dozen small loans and pay half one month and half another month. If you even pay a bit off each every month they cannot sue you.
Now with credit cards, you get fined for missing paymnets or not paying the minimum amount and in addition their interest charges verge on abusive. If you get a bank loan and clear the card debt at once, you will probably end up paying a lot less interest over say two years than by paying off the card over the same period of time.
However, it is not wise to consolidate the two into one big debt. If you can get a nationwide loan to clear the credit card, please do so, but don';t pay off the TSB loan all at once. Just keep paying it. |

Stop paying them. If you are struggling go to the local citizens advice bureau and ask if they have a debt advisor available. They are legally qaulified employed by the government to get uk people out of debt they specialise in debt it wont cost you a penny.and they are on your side.
They will advise you to only pay priority debts...eg rent/mortgage...gas...elec..council tax. The credit debts are NOT priority The CAB will contact each one of them and offer a repayment amount monthly which you can afford. You will not be given a bad credit file for this because you will be paying.....but only what you can afford after the priority debts are met each month. |

My husband wanted to consolidate his loan and credit card with lloyds tsb. When he applied for a new loan with them their APR was a ridiculous amount it would have worked out he would pay almost double back in a few years. We consolidated with Halifax and he now pays approx £100 less a month and not too much interest to pay back over the years. |

Oh dear!
Another one. Look very carefully before you leap into a contract with the sharks. So many companies are advertising their loans that look so inviting.
You have debts now, don't make them far too difficult to service in the future.
Call a Debt Management Consultant in your area. The CAB would help put you in touch but don't go headlong into any agreement with any provider before being counselled in debt management yourself. |

Don't go to yet another credit company. Have a one to one with your bank manager and come to a compromise over payments, same with your credit card company. Then cut up your cards. |

I'm posting this to warn EVERYONE on yahoo! abt Loan scams.
Beware of Advance fee Loan scams.
LOAN SCAM - Do Not Pay UpFront Fees.
Do not send money UpFront via Western Union or MoneyGram to any person or business in the UK, Nigeria or Canada in hopes of getting a loan. If you do you will learn a hard lesson & never see any Loan money. |
