See if they have a credit union in your area.You dont have to be working but they may want some of your child benefit paid straight to them if you get a loan. We have one in yorkshire and its really useful for savings and loans. |

Stop getting yourself in debt - you are obviously getting your rent and council tax paid and if you cannot survive on the money you have coming in, then a loan is not the answer as you will only be struggling to pay it back.
Im not sure of the age of your child(ren) but, once they are 3 you can put them into school part time (if they are not already) - this will enable you to get a part time job - your local supermarkets and other such stores i.e. B&Q or maybe a cab office etc etc normally work in shifts and can be very accommodating for parents.
I appreciate its not easy getting an accommodating job with kids as you have to juggle everything and everyday is a flurry of rushing to drop kids off so you can get to work ontime and rushing back to pick them up so you wont be late etc etc - and even finding good, trustworthy childcare is scary and hard and not to mention battling public transport (if required) with your kid(s) in tow and hoping that is going to be on time (at the very least) - let alone the guilt you often feel when you leave them, but, if you dont feel ready to get a job then at least DONT get anymore loans - once they are gone all you are left with is paying the bill, and on benefits that extra couple of quid makes ALL the difference. |

WHY would you want one
lenders are going to look at your ability to pay them back. Which by the sound of things they will assume is zip, so they will lend you an amount relative to the amount they think you are likely to be able to pay, so 20xzip is zip, sorry but facts of life.
if you have got some spare money each week then i suggest you start saving with your local credit union. After a few months of regular saving you will be allowed to borrow small amounts. |

Don't look for another loan, go to Citizens advice and get them to help you make an easy repayment deal with your creditors. Get your self a wee part time job and save the extra money coming in, then you will have money for extras. I t may sound harsh but you cant have it all, you have to learn how to handle money and get yourself on track. Good luck. |
