 Does Bank of America have a right to close my credit card without a notice? |
It was my first credit card, and they closed it due to inactivity. Now my credit score will fall because of it. Is it legal to do? The card was in good standing.

Stop using credit cards, and you won't have any bad experience.
Maintain just one card, and NEVER use it other that EMERGENCIES. And a MegaSale is NOT and emergency. |

No, But I had bitter experience with citibank credit card.
Finally I learnt a lesson that we should not use credit card or should have only one card and use it wisely.

No, other than I tried to get their credit card and I was denied on the grounds that I am not a citizen of Taiwan (the country where I was applying.) I am a resident, but without being a citizen, I have to have a cosigner. Which, I think is dumb. In the US, all you need is a face to get a credit card. |

What kind of bad experience you had with them?
My experience with HSBC in respect of credit card has been better than that of with ICICI, HDFC, SBI and a couple of public sector banks. HSBC made some mistakes but on first instance of bringing mistakes to their notice, they corrected except for one instance when they cheated me by not giving promised cash back last time on certain approved purchases. My experience is worst with Citi Bank, with which I stopped all my and my family, associates/clients dealings. |

personally i have not but I have only been dealing with the company for about 2 month's but, on ripoff.com there are a lot of complaints i usually check out that website before i deal with certain companies |
