Ask your bank or credit union about a secured credit card. You can make a deposit to your account and have a credit limit in the amount of your deposit. The bank takes little risk and you build credit slowly.
Use a co-signer on your first few credit accounts. Lenders will consider the co-signer’s existing credit. The co-signer essentially ‘vouches’ for you while you build credit. Note that this is a big responsibility – you can cause major headaches for the co-signer if you don’t pay as agreed.
Use credit programs for modestly large purchases like furniture. For example, you may buy a television on the “$40/Month Payment Plan”. These programs can be easier to qualify for and they certainly help you build credit. Be sure that the retailer will report your loan to the major credit reporting companies.
Get a credit card with any reputable institution that will give you one. Again, you have to make sure they’ll report your timely payments to the credit reporting companies. Of course, you have to always pay at least the minimum before the due date. |

To repair bad credit, there is 1 best way. If you have lots of time and persistence, you can take a stab at it yourself. I believe, however, that your credit shouldn't be left to chance. Have you already filed bankruptcy or are you not making your bills? It's kinda hard to answer since we don't know your circumstance.
Pay your bills on time all the time and eventually it will turn around. Even if it is medical bills pay 25 bucks a month until it is paid for and so on. |

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.
I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :

First, you can check your credit rating and make sure there aren't any outstanding claims. You can get a free credit report (not score) at annualcreditreport.com. If you find any unpaid bills, etc., pay them immediately. Next, make sure the amount of debt on your existing credit cards isn't maxing out. Closing out credit cards probably won't help your score. If you have to close out cards, close out the ones that you got most recently, as credit score is based on history. Other than that, it will just take time for your credit score to heal itself. |
