Of course, there are always alternatives like debit or cash. You could even barter or steal, though I don't recommend the latter. You could also use traveler's cheques or a line of credit. Both are available through your bank. I like my line of credit because it works like a credit card but my interest rate is 9% compared to 19% with my credit card. Try mbna.com for more details. |

Not really-- Any other methods of getting goods will be paying cash... You can always use a debit card but that's not credit because it will be coming off your savings or checking-- A debit card is your own money.... So, no there is no substitute for credit cards, no business will give you anything w/ out paying for it- .......................you can try stealing! J/K |

You can have a equity loan, if you are a home owner. With some equity loans you get a card you use like a credit card or some even issue you checks. Outside of that, cash, baby cash. |

Yes. Get a pre-paid card. You put money into your account so you do not need to have cash on you all the time, but since you have a limit you will not go overboard on spendings. There is no bill unless you go over. If you choose to get a pre-paid card keep a good record of how much you have in your account. |
