Yes I would give it him back.
This happened to me before, an elderly man had taken out £80 and there were a few people around me in the queue debating whether or not to take it.
The elderly man was in an electric wheelchair so he had 'driven' away pretty fast, I took the money out of the cash machine - with a few people shouting ' thief ' then I began to run to get his money back to him.
The man was very grateful and actually said I could keep it because I did a ''good citizen thing. '' I then spent a few minutes explaining to him that I'd already done what I know is right by returning it to him. He took his money and said his thanks. Now every week I go and do his shopping for him as his own children don't care if he has nothing in to eat.
Anyone that takes the money and doesn't give it back should be ashamed of themselves. |

just for info, if you leave the money in the atm dispenser it will be taken back by the atm after a short period of time and the money will not be taken from the persons account, so the easiest way to return it is just to leave it in the machine |

i have found money 4 times very close to that way and i returned all 4 because i saw the person leave it . so i could never take i from them i just dotn have it in me .i love the satisfaction you get from giving it back even if they dont say thanks .
but iv also found 2 random wallets in the city one i took to the police and one i took the money out then took to the police so they atleast get there id n cards back

and the secodn time i had intentions on taking i police coz i was like 2 doors down also. but the girl that lost it saw it in my hand and grabed me buy the troat yelling with here mates onlu reason they didnt do nothing is coz they were out numberd buy us . i didnt even tell here i was walking to the polive station 10 meters away my friedns just grabed here of me and threw here to the floor and we walked about .but one of my friens actualyy went back and explaind the situation lol

Yes I have been in situations like that before. Unless I find money and no on is around who i suspect its there I will keep it, but other than that I return the money regardless of the amount. Unless its George Bush (joke) |
