Get one or two credit cards to help establish your credit. Make a few minor purchases and pay your bill each month before the due date but don't max the card out. Something like 30% of your credit limit should be suffice.Try and pay off the cards in about 6 months to a year. Make sure you get a print out from one or two of the credit bureaus to see exactly where you stand. Anything outstanding dispute it in writing and that allots them 30 days to respond and if they don't then they have to drop the outstanding balance. This is just for starters because I don't know how bad your credit is.

Credit repair; Usually companies charge hundreds of dollars to simply pull your credit and send correctly worded dispute letters—this is the key…..people will tell you that you can do this yourself for free but the truth of the matter is that the credit bureaus will throw your letters away or simply reject them. There is an easy to use online kit that will deliver the results you want available for just $19.95 at the source website. A similar kit is being sold via infomercials and radio talk shows for seventy dollars more but they try to solicit you repeatedly for other services after the fact.

Hi there!

There’s no quick fix for repairing your credit and improving your score. The only way to strengthen your credit is to begin managing your credit responsibly over time: Make timely payments on your credit accounts and outstanding debts to establish a positive new track record with handling credit. Pay all bills on time; get current on any payments you may have missed; keep balances low on credit cards. Like losing weight, strengthening your credit can only happen with time and effort.

For helpful information on credit, you might want to check out this website: http://learn.equifax.com/. It’s provided by Equifax. It’s created for the general public and it’s pretty easy to read. I would definitely recommend it.

All the best to you!

You'll get credit card companies that will give a $250.00 credit more or less with a high percentage rate. Take any that is offered to you and pay them off if you can with one payment, keep doing that and you'll pretty soon get your credit built back up. Did you take a Bankruptcy, they make you suffer and you just have to go for years according to your age before you can get straightened out, It takes 7 years before you can half way get straight.
Their like a bunch of vultures , ready to eat you alive.

Orchard Bank and a few other credit card companies offer credit cards for people with past credit problems. If you qualify, pay it on time religiously and you;ll find other doors opening. Also, check with your bank for advise too. Good luck!

The best thing to do is to pay ALL of your bills on time each and every month. You might also try to apply for one (1) credit card. If you are accepted, you'll have a higher interest rate, but as long as you pay a little more than the minimum each and every month, your credit score will slowly but surely rise.

Stuff happens in life; my score used to be in the 800's.
