Best credit card to build credit, I have non at the moment?
I need a credit card to build credit, I have none and only plan on purchasing a meal a month with it and paying it off asap so I dont care about how much the limit is or anything. Just one with the lowest like per year cost and interest rates

Start off with department store credit cards such as JCPenny, Sears, etc... or try Capital One, Household Bank, Orchard Bank, and/or First Premier. These are all the easiest ones to obtain for people with no credit yet. Your limits will be small but they will get you started in the right direction to building your credit. Use credit cards wisely, never borrow over 50% of the balance, pay the cards on time and try to keep the number of credit cards to a minimum (2-3). Best of luck.

if you have none then you have the best.... get a loan from your bank would be better... but if you have to get a card any would do but all will cost you more in the long run

I wouldn't do that with a credit card.... your best credit builder would be to take a small loan out at your local bank or credit union.... and make the monthly payments ON TIME.

Since you plan on being intelligent and paying off the balance every month, most any card will do. Do some research and find one that either gives bonus points like Discover or some Chase cards, or one that "pays" for you to use it like GM (points toward buying a car) or a gas company card that gives a small (about 3 or 4 cents) return on your gas purchases. I use my Discover all year to pay utility bills and for special purchases (pay in full every month) and then get gift cards with my points and give them as gifts.

First things first, the world is plastic and everyone needs to survive. Thanks in part to the existence of credit cards, the world has become a lot more livable and safer – financially speaking. The problem then is in the selection of the credit card offer that is appropriate for you. Basically, the question that needs to be answered is which credit card should you go for in order to buy anything and everything you think you need or may not need.

Believe it or not, it all starts and ends with you. The important thing is that you first know what it is you want as well as where you currently stand. The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of credit cards out there that would fit your personal preference and lifestyle. If you are still in college, there are various student college credit cards you could choose from. One is a Citibank Platinum Dividend college student credit card. Balance transfers are allowed in this particular credit card as well as a cash advance facility.

Also, cash backs are earned in this credit card that is worth two percent on purchases made at stores, gas stations, as well as other basic utilities. This college student credit card allows one to build early on a credit history. Apply online for a best credit card at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/PrePaid_Card.html

I like my Capitol One card.. low APR (like 8%), no annual fees. AND, I earn rewards.. mine are air miles.

Get a Gas Company Credit Card that has no annual fee low interest cash rewards or cash back on gas - try to not carry a balance month to month. This can also help you out by not always having to have ready cash for gas purchases. There is almost no way to budget them now anyway. You write them one check a month and have records for each purchase. Makes tax time a snap too.

If you have no credit, you shouldn't have a problem finding one.
Just don't pay an annual fee since you will hardly use it.

put it this way, go to credit cards.com they have several lenders there that range for people with excellent all the way to bad credit. choose bad credit and my personal choice is continental finance. you'll get a 300 limit right off but they have about 230 or so bucks on the card you'll have to end up paying. this is because they are protecting their assets because of people not paying. minimum payments are always 50.00 all this is for people in your similar situation. so all the fee's and high monthly payments are hard to stay away from until your credit is established again.....cool i think that wraps it up haha....i hope this helps!!!

Depending how bad it is . First premier is a good one that I had. And Aspen was another good one I had. Basically they have fees to begin with but pay them on time and you will see the difference in 2 months with your score. Took me one year to buy my house from 560 to 656
