You can find a complete list of 'balance transfer' credit cards here:
http://www.asapcreditcard.com/0-apr.html
There was a time when the best balance transfer deals included 'no balance transfer fee'. But nowadays, every major credit card issuer includes a balance transfer fee since so many people were taking advantage (and abusing) these offers.
But you can still save a lot of money on interest charges-- even with the balance transfer fee! Consider the Discover More, Rewards Advantage (from First National), or the Chase Platinum Card. All great balance transfer deals with a 0% APR for 12 months and a $75 CAP on the balance transfer fee.
Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK! |

Here are 2 good credit cards with low APR rates on balance transfers.
1. Advanta Life-of-Balance Platinum Card
This credit card issued by Advanta is very popular among the balance transfer community. The reason being that it offers a low 2.99% Fixed APR for LIFE on balances transferred within 3 months. That is an offer which few credit card companies can match. With this excellent balance transfer rate the Advanta Life-of-Balance Platinum Card offers Up to 6% Cash Back or Travel Rewards. The credit card has No annual fee, and the reward program has no limits on earnings. On the whole a good credit card to transfer the balances.
2. Blue Cash from American Express®
This credit card issued by the credit card giant American Express has No annual fee. Coming to balance transfers, the Blue Cash from American Express has a low balance transfer rate. The APR for balance transfer is 4.99% fixed for the life of balance. Another good feature of the Blue Cash from American Express is that it is a 0 Intro APR credit card. It has a 0% intro APR rate for 6 months. The reward program of Blue Cash from American Express gives Up to 5% Cash Back with Unlimited Cash Rewards. This entitles the credit card holder to earn an unlimited cash back on his spendings. Apply online at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/American_Express.html |

I found a pretty good website for comparing all the major credit card companies/cards. I used it to transfer one of my cards that had a 21 APR (eeck!) down to a 12 APR. Granted, a 12 APR isn't that great, but it sure beats a 21. I was even able to find one that gives me airline travel rewards so when I visit my husband that works/lives out of state, which I do frequently, I can earn frequent flyer miles. This might help you out in looking for a new card too.

How about cutting your cards up and not buying anything until you have the cash to do so? Sounds like you're starting to get into trouble with the cards. Credit cards are a real trap and if you are carrying balances every month you're going to be in real trouble soon. Trust me, I've been there.
Do yourself a favor and go read, Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. You can borrow it from the library so you won't have to spend any money. Great book....and it will help you to see that you actually CAN pay those cards off and can live debt free. How nice would it be to sleep at night instead of juggling payments on those stupid cards.
Oh, and you can listen to his radio show for free at the link below. |

The answer to this question depends on several factors, including the total balance you owe, your credit score, and whether or not you own a home.
If your credit score is good, there are many credit card companies that you can get a card from with a 0% APR on transfer balances when you open that account. Some cards have this APR for 6 months and some for 12 months. Read the fine print before getting one of these cards, not only to find out how long the 0% APR will be, but also whether there are any annual fees or any administrative fees for transferring a balance. Take note that if you do not pay the transfer balance off prior to the end of the 0% period or miss a single payment, you will start accruing interest at the full card rate. A balance transfer is considered a cash advance, so the interest rate will be at the cash rates, usually 18 to 24%. At a minimum, cash rates are usually 3-5% higher than purchase rates. Also, some cards will charge interest from day one that will be billed to your account as soon as your promotional period is up if the transfer is not paid off.
That being said, several of the best cards for 0% APR are through Citibank. The cards have 0% APR on transfers for 12 months and Citibank has pretty good interest rates, as well. The best is Citibank Platinum Select, with a 0% APR for 12 months, 10.24% APR on purchases, and no annual fee. Other cards are available with slightly higher purchase APRs, but other perks, such as cash back on purchases or airline miles. Check out their selection of 0% APR cards at http://www.citibank.com. I'm not trying to sell Citi to you or anything, just giving you information on the best card I know of for transfers.
You can also transfer the store card balances to a national credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) that you already have, but you are likely going to pay 3.99% on that balance or more and will likely only get that rate for 6 months. Keep in mind that your current credit cards have no reason to offer you a 0% rate, since you are already a customer. If you call them, you may get the rate, but don't depend on it.
If you own a home and the balances on the cards are significant, your best bet is to use a home equity loan (NOT home equity line of credit) to pay off the cards. The interest rate will be 1/2 to 1/3 the rate of a credit card and you will have a longer time period to pay off the debt. A home equity loan will require significantly more work than opening a new credit card account with 0%, though, so save this for if you have marginal credit.
Whichever way you go, you should cancel your store credit cards after you transfer the balances. Store cards almost always have terrible interest rates, little or no rewards, and are only useful at that company's stores. Plus, they hurt your credit report. The best credit reports only have 2 or 3 open credit card accounts on them. The more open accounts you have on your credit report past that, the worse your credit score. Store cards contribute open accounts to your credit report, so you have accounts that provide you little flexibility or benefit, but are costing you credit score (FICO) points. The only credit cards you should have are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club, or Discover, as they are accepted in tens of thousands of locations worldwide, can provide rewards (i.e. airline miles, cash back bonuses, etc.), offer better rates, and can be used at any company that accepts national cards.
As a final note, remember that transferring balances is simply moving debt, not getting rid of it. Do not make the mistake of accruing debt again on cards that you clear out, as that will only compund debt problems. |

take a look here:

You can compare a bunch of cards and their rates, options, bonuses...
There a a bunch with like zero APR on balance transfers (usually only for 6-12 months). I just did the same thing with a discover card and it has zero for 12 months, and a cash back bonus... |

OK. lets not pin anyone down. your answer is it depends. Some credit cards will give you a good rate and let you transfer balances but charge you a transfer fee. Capital One and Chase did this to me. Others may have a slightly higher rate but charge no balance transfer fees. Discovercard. But since credit cards are always changing it is best to read the fine print and go from there. |
