First, realize that you aren't paying off debt by getting a new loan, you are just moving it around.
If your credit score is good enough, get a loan at your bank or your credit union.
Otherwise, your best bet may be to make a deal with the company you owe the money to. See if you can get them to delete the account from your credit report if you pay them. Be sure to get any agreement in writing, and then stick to your end of the bargain. |
