Best way to increase your credit score?
What is the best way to help increase your credit score? Especially if you have a foreclosure on it?

Pay all of your bills on time and don't have more credit then you have money coming in. If you make 40 thousand a year don't have 80 thousand credit available.

Pay all of your billls on time!

Scores can be increased within a week if you know what to look for.

Pay all your bill ahead of time and more than you need to.

and

Find someone who has a high credit score and open a credit line with them, your will rise due to theirs.

golferwhoworks
Pay your bills on time and time itself. The foreclosure will not help in getting future mortgages until 4 years have past. So time itself.

Use your credit sparingly, make your scheduled payments on time, don't ever be late with a payment, keep credit inquiries off your record, and be patient.

The foreclosure will hurt for a number of years to come. You'll need to be especially patient.

Pay down all your balances and pay your bills on time!

My favorite place to get info on credit is Truecredit.com.
It only costs an initial $30 to get all three of your credit reports online and then a monthly fee of $11.96 to have 24/7 access to the reports. This site is fabulous. They also send you alerts any time something changes on your credit through email. AND there is soooo much information on there to help you answer any/all questions about credit. Check it out. You won't regret it! Good luck!

keep low balances on your credit cards and make sure all your bills are paid before they go to collections.

My advice is to get advice from a professional on how to do this. But you can start by paying off your credit card debt, and keep on paying off your other debts, if any. Just try talking to a professional and see what your options are.

Pay your bills on time and fully. Then no one will be able to complain about you to the credit bureau.

There are unethical ways for you to do so quite rapidly (within 30 days)... works effectively 85% of the time, eliminates all negative credit references.

In order to build good credit you need to start building a good history. You need to partner with companies that will report to all three (3) credit bureaus, but won’t pull your credit. Crown Jewelers is a great company that will give you a small credit line and report to all three (3) credit bureaus. Easy approval.

Second, open a secured credit card. New Millenium Bank is an excellent choice. They won’t check your credit and report to all three (3) credit bureaus. You can even pay your bill online.

Revolving trade lines are highly weighted in credit scoring, so keep your balance –to- credit limit ratio low. Never miss a payment. Before you know it you will be on your way to better credit.

I'd say pay your debts promptly, including credit cards. This will definitely help.

Are you having a foreclosure on your house? If so after the foreclosure are you going to be able to pay your other bills on time? If yes then Just pay your bills on time and just let time heal your credit score. If you cant pay the bills still. Then you make want to file for Bankruptcy. Clear the debt and start over. Rebuilding your credit is not falling into the same mistakes from your past. Get only one credit card and never keep a large balance on it and try to pay it off month to month. Get a car and make the payments on time. Save your money and live inside your means.

You have a foreclosure on your credit score?? :-)

The best way to improve your credit score is to:

Pay your past-due debts.

Pay your current bills on time.

Not apply for a lot of credit cards. (Each application requires a credit check, and banks frown on that.)

Maybe even apply for a small signature loan at a local bank and make sure you pay it all back, and on time.
