4.Bank tells you to call the company.
5.Repeat process until you get the desired results, or order the product again elsewhere. |

Call the company and ask them to track your order. Then call your bank and notify them that you ordered a product that you never received. Dispute the charge on your account. Usually they will have you fill out some paperwork or take the information over the phone. They will investigate. It can take up to 5-10 business days but they can tell you for sure what their policy is. Most likely they will take the money back from the vendor and credit your account. |

This is tricky now. First, you can go to the bank and get the charges reversed. The other company will huff and puff but simply tell them to show you proof that you recieved the item. This can go both ways. Was the item insured? Was it sent thru normal mail channels. Your claim may be legitimate but You are not the first to try and cheat the company. Was the company well known, like on Ebay? So many factors. If it was sent by FedEx, FedEx will know if the item was delivered to your house. Then what if it was delivered but your neighbor stole the item. Who is responsible, I do not know? Ask FedEx, for responsiblity of package if it is delivered to your house. |

That recently happened with me... i got fed some BS "my brother just died" sob-story and left it to see if the item would arrive like i was told. I left it too long however and can no longer report them. I suggest you do it immediately - especially if it's eBay. |

First of all, did you buy it from ebay, if you did then you can report that person to ebay and ebay will help resolve the situation. Otherwise contact your bank and let them know what has happened and they should be able to instruct you further. |

Was it a digital item or a physical item?
If digital. Check your email account and the SPAM folder. Their email may have gone into the SPAM folder. Email them to see if they will send you the link again. If you don't hear back from them call to ask for the link. The last step would be to contact your debit card company.
If physical. Ask for proof of shipping. If insurance was not purchased, then what happens next will vary based on the website policy and your location.

You can file a fraud report with your bank and they will refund your money. I've done it twice now and it has worked both times. |

First of all I hope you know the person, and second of all do you know that using your card on-line only puts you in a state of someone stealing your card number? I know of 3 people this has happened to and the ones that took the number spent all their money, good thing the bank gives your money back and a new card but going through that mess is not worth it at all.
So you should get back with the person that you got the item from and bug them, there's nothing you can do about it unless its from a store of some sort or from eBay you can contact support but mostly there's nothing you can do I don't think.
For now on I wouldn't order with your card unless its secure and you know you will get the item, go through eBay and use pay pal if you must order something.. |
