CREDIT CARDS-If you make a purchase does the bill send what you exactly you bought?
how will u know

zyberianwarrior
it sends you a statement every month of your purchases compare them to your receipts that you keep (and if you don't keep receipts start). It also adds on their extortion apr on purchases you did not pay off the previous month.

More Lies & More Smoke Screens
WHAT???
If you use a credit card the bill will show the amount of the charge & the place where the purchase was made. If you are using your card willy nilly & cannot remember where you used it or on what, I suggest YOU keep a record of ALL purchases made with your credit card.

cork
mine does not.....
it shows- company- amount-date- ect but not what I bought .

AUCT!ON
when you use your credit card it will show your purchases on the statement, exactly what you bought. You can also check your credit card purchases online to see if there is something that is incorrect.

Not usualkly. Mine list the store and the amount many times without a description.

No How this works is a store for example opens up a merchant account, and the merchants you buy from get listed with the amount that they were paid. I keep my credit card reciepts, and when my statement comes I place an x next to each amount that i have a reciept for. May sound tedious, but over the years i've found several charges that I didn't charge. And you can file a claim, and get your money back or a credit for the questionable charges. Hope that helps?

crimethinker1984
The statement will show the TRANSACTION, but not the items bought. It will (usually) have enough information to remind you of your purchase, merchant name, date, amount, and most of the time a contact phone number.

It will tell you where and when you purchursed the item on your statement.

So if you bought a rampant rabbit (hee hee) from the Ann Summers Shop it would just say ...
Ann Summers and the amount... Not Rampant Rabbit ha ha

Hope this helps

Sarah
Credit card statements will not show exactly what you purchased. Credit card companies do not receive the itemeized receipts from the stores when you buy something, the stores or their parent companies keep those. The only time the credit card company can request it is if you either write in to them (there's usually a fee) or if you have a dispute with that purchase. The credit card company will then contact the store's bank and ask fordocumentation, typically the itemized receipt.
