Can I get a credit card with bad credit?
I've tried to get one in the past but generally the only ones I can get are pre-paid credit cards. I've never had a credit card before but my credit is so bad that everytime I try to get one I get turned down. Anyone know of a credit card I could get with no bank account and no credit checks?

If you have bad or poor credits and want to re-establish your credit, these are the special cards for you such as USA Gold Shopping Card, USA Gold Optimum, or Orchard Bank MasterCard. Since you credit history is bad or poor, you will be only given a small credit line. And you might have to pay a higher interest rate than that of regular credit cards. But if you are determined to get your credit back to good standing, apply for one of those credit cards and always make the minimum monthly payment, or even better - pay off the balance every month. Your credit lender will be willing to low the interest rate and increase your credit line gradually.

If you still can't get approved for these special credit cards for bad credit, try pre-paid credit cards - These Prepaid Card does not extend you credit. Instead, accounts are prepaid for a specific amount and accounts are only good for the balance you have loaded/applied. They work pretty much like a debit card but entitle you to some benefits of a credit card.

First question - Why is your credit so bad if you've never had anything but pre-paid cards? Second question - why do you think you need a credit card? Credit cards are less than worthless. They steal your money AND your peace. You end up paying more for everything because of the interest charges and fees.

Save your money and buy the things you 'need' with cash. You'll probably find you don't 'need' so many things. And if you plan to use credit cards to charge thing like food and gas, you have more serious problems and a credit card will only add to your problems, not solve them.

No afraid not. If you want to improve your credit you will have to do the deposit type credit card thing where you agree to deposit say 200 dollars in an account with them and they will give you a 250 dollar limit. You will have to live with it for a while but if you are trustworthy they will give you one that is unsecured,
I would not have one of those kinds of cards in my possesion ever again! I got out of a hole my husband and I dug about 10 years ago and now I have a debit visa card that will work just like a regular credit card but it isn't credit.
You are going to have to start a checking account and keep it for a little while before anyone will trust you.
A savings account with a little bit in it is also a wonderful confidence builder for you.
You should try to contact the people who are holding your credit down and see if you can make an arrangement with them to try to fix your problems, they are really good about working with people to get some of your money even if it is just a little every month.
Hope I have helped you, it isn't what you asked for,but I am telling you the Truth about all of it and a bad credit score is a very big push down when you try to even rent an apartment or get a job, because they can and do check your credit rating in making those kinds of choices anymore!

There are several sites, the link below is the one that I recommend.

Of course in all credit cards with people with bad credit, you have to pay a small annual fee. Still it's a tremendous way to rebuild your credit history.

You need to improve your credit rating first as no bank account and bad credit means that you are a risk. Start a bank account and keep feeding it. After you have a few hundred in it and have paid off any outstanding credit bills, take out a small bank loan against your account. Pay that off on time. You have just improved your credit rating to the point where a company will take a chance on you.

you should try Tribute and Aspire. They both gave me a Credit Card when my score was a 420. BUT you need to clean up your credit. go to equifax.com and get your free credit report. Legally they have to give you a free one once a year. Then dispute stuff that you feel you shouldn't have to pay or that may not be you.

I reviewed the recomendations of the other answerers and although they attempt to be helpful, they are consumers without credit experience. The first site recommended will sell your info to several companies and if you applied with one, up to ten inquiries may be done. It is stated in very fine print in the agreement. Every inquiry on your credit results in a deduction of two points minumum. There are also many cards with low limits for poor credit history with high interest rates and annual fees. Stay away from Orchard Bank, MBNA, and Capital One. The best are below Chase and Citi, believe it or not. Both have within their guidelines to issue cards with scores as low as 500.

Yes, First Premier Bank Card is an excellent way to build your credit. I know because I work there. First Premier Bank is in buisness to help people establish or rebuilded their credit. Excellent opeertuntities. Although you will have to pay $178 of intial start-up fees- because you are at risk with the bank. But it is well worth it. They report you to the 4 major credit beureas on a montly basis. I recommend them. Please visit their website @ firstpremier.com
