Many banks will allow you to overdraw your account up to a certain amount; usually up to $500.00 and they will charge you normally between $30-$35 for each time you overdraw. It is generally a good idea to take a lump sum amount if you overdraw, so you will only get charged once. |

it should be ok. most debit cards work on the visa credit system so it doesnt chaeck your account, it checks whether you are a risk. although by the sound of it you might be a risk...... |

Most banks will have security that limits your withdrawals to the amount in your account, or the amount in your OD facility if you have one. You won't be able to take out 10 pounds, sorry.

If you have no overdraft limit you will not get any money,also if you do manage to get any it will cost you twice as much to pay back for being overdrawn.It would be cheaper & easier to borrow £5 from a friend or relative. |

It depends on your bank...Wells Fargo used to decline overages, but now let them go through and charge a whooping $35 per overdraw transaction.

you can not use your debit card for that as you can onlyspend what is on your card, your credit card, u can spend spend and spend, but be warned you have to pay it back at some point |
