If that is part of the package you have from Capital One. If so, you have a PIN number to use at the ATM and they have advised you that interest will be charged immediately, etc. If you still have it check the cardholder agreement they sent when you got the card (I know - I don't have mine either!!) or call the 1-800 number on the back of the card and ask. |

Yes, but you have to call capital one to create a pin. I've done it before. |

If you are getting cash advances on your credit card, that's a major sign of being FLAT BROKE. Don't do it ! It's way too expensive in the long run. |

Usually yes but you will pay higher interest rates for cash than you would for actually charging something. Give them a call. The number will be on the back of your card. |

You can if you know your pin number. |

Yes, you can get a cash advance on a credit card assuming you remember the PIN. But beware that cash advances are usually charged a much higher interest rate that a regular purchase. |

You'll need a PIN,but cash advances are super expensive! They'll hit you with a high interest rate that accrues from the day you take the money out. You don't get a grace period as you do with regular charges.
Watch out! |

yes...if you have the pin# ...cash tranactions like this carry a high interest rate! Higher than that of just purchases. And don't forget the fee...usually 3% of the amount you take out...and the fee the bank will charge for using thier atm |

Yes you can with a pin number but most cards have limits on cash advances that don't always go as high as your card balance. |

you can if it has the MC logo at the ATM, but your credit card co can charge you as much as they want per transaction (one time it cost me 10 bucks to take out 20) and they charge you a "cash advance fee" 'til your balance is paid off in total. Save yourself a few hundred bucks and just go to the bank. |

You have to have a PIN number. Keep in mind that this would be a cash advance, and most credit card companies charge a higher interest rate on cash advances than on purchases. |

Be careful taking cash advances from Capital One. Not only will you pay cash advance fees and a higher interest rate (20.49-22.49%). In addition, payments apply to regular purchases first. For example, you charged $100 in regular purchases (food and clothes) and withdrawn $50 in cash. If you made a $50 payment, it applies to $50 in regular purchases.
My wife and I have separate Capital One cards. We had taken cash advances. When we made the payment for the cash advances, it applied to the regular purchases. We were still charged a high interest rate for the cash advances. We have not tried calling customer services to revolve the issue. |
