yeah you can. jus go to your bank and tell them you want to open up a checkings and savings account. they'll send you checks and a card. but the card will not have a master card or visa logo on it. therefore it will only make it ATM. some places take ATM but others, on the other hand, dont. |

You can get a debit card, just go to the bank and talk to them about opening up a checking account. You might need a parent to sign on the account with you and you need to make sure you keep putting money in it so that it doesn't drop below the minimum causing extra, unnecessary charges. |

You need a checking account to get a check card (commonly known as a debit card), and most banks, at least in the U.S., won't open a checking account for anyone under 18. The only way you could get one is to have a joint account with a parent or other responsible adult.
You could open a savings account and get a cash card (also known as an ATM card) which would not allow you to make purchases, but would allow you access to your money at any ATM in your bank's network. |
