its not true. It takes time and a lot or work to get your credit back.
start paying bills on time, and little by little it will come back up. But caution it will take a long time. It's not going to happen overnight.

You can not totally clear your credit history. But there are ways you can improve it.

First, you need to try and remove negative information from your credit reports. There are only two ways that negative info can be deleted from your history.

1) The creditor must remove it
2) The creditor fails to respond to a dispute investigation from the credit bureau.

Info on doing this is in the links below. This will fix some of the problems.

Next, note that just paying your debt does NOT remove bad information from your credit report. If you intend to pay the debt, demand that the creditor/collection agency DELETE the entry, or change it to paid in full, never late. Just changing it to "paid" does NOT remove information about collections, late payments, or settlements. It's still a bad report, and you did absolutely nothing to fix it by paying they debt!

Look at the debt and see howl old it is. Note that debts are removed from your credit report automatically after 7 years, beginning on the date of the delinquency. NOT the charge off date, reporting date, last transaction date, or any other nonsense these people are telling you. So if the debt is old, ignore not!

This method will NOT fix everything, but it will help a lot in improving your credit. I've helped many people do this.

Finally, get more info by visiting http://www.creditboards.com. This is a message board with an awful lot of good advice for getting your credit back in order.

Pay your debts off and then dispute all of them thru the bureaus, that will get some of them off and improve your score. Also do not make payments until you get request a letter from the agency involved stating that the entry will be deleted once you make payment. This will make your credit score go up and you will feel better because you do not have those things hanging over your head.

I don't think that's possible. The only way you can do that is by paying your debts and making timely payments on them.

Dream on. Your heard wrong. And anyone who claims that they can do that for you is a scammer and will only rip you off and make things worse.

If you mucked it up, only you can clear it. And you can only do that by clearing your debts and keeping clean for 7 years.

This is a myth. Your credit is what it is. It can not be wiped clean, the only thing that will fix your credit is time and you paying your bills on time every month.

I mean think about it. If this was true? There would be nobody in the entire Country with bad credit.

fmxkrazyone
If you can do that, I doubt that it's legal. I know first hand that once you blow your credit score, it takes years to get it back to a reasonable state.

Pay all of your bills on time. Do not use credit cards anymore, I haven't for 2 years and 7 months. Keep every penny you earn, you worked hard for it. Why give it to someone else?

Improving Bad Credit Report: If you have a bad credit record, investigate the reason for this report. If the reason is late or non-payments on your behalf, start making payments to the lender and clear off the debt. A late payment can work against you later on. If you are unable to pay due to shortage of funds, limit your spending. Another solution is to take more credit from reputed lenders who offer you flexible payment schedule. By paying off your huge debt in small amounts quickly, you can impress your prospective lenders. Then finish off the investigation of your credit report conducted by the bureau.

You can't alter the truth. This is the credit you wanted, it was earned by your choices.

Make better choices.

You earned it. What, you're not proud of it now?
