Can i get a loan or credit card with no credit?
i am 19 and i need to borrow about 1000 dollars to pay some bills and rent. I have no credit or anything but i only need this money for around a month before i can pay it back. any advice?
Additional Details
im not really worried about high interest bc it will be cheaper to pay everything and the interest then have everything turned off and be evicted.

When I turned 18 I had no credit and applied for a bunch of credit cards. The only one that gave me a line of credit was Capital One, but it was only a $750 credit limit.

If you only need the money short term, and you have a job/checking account, you may just want to go to a payday loan place like Moneytree. You will have to pay about $100 for every $500 you borrow though. Just make sure you tell them you only get paid once a month (even if you get paid biweekly) so you have longer to pay back the loan.

I'm sorry to see you have so many SPAM responses to your question.

Yes, you can get a loan or a credit card with no credit. As you noted, you will likely have to pay a high interest rate, but it is better than defaulting on all of your other payments.

I will leave a link for you, in the resources, of a site I have used. They have categories for different types of cards and I believe they have a category of credit card companies that provide loans to those with little to no credit.

Good luck!

Your credit history isn't all that important when it comes to lenders as long as you can prove that you are earning a good wage and being a first time borrower, you may only get offered around $1000 with most lenders which is pretty bad. Banks are never the best places to get loans unless you can provide up to five years worth of addresses and have had a regular income going into your account for a good while.

Most lenders (Not Bank ones) are interested only in whether you have a regular full time job and/or if you have a home of your own or assets they can take in the event that you might die or fail to keep up with payments for any reason. This is why many loans are for home-owners rather than for tenants secured or unsecured loans.

Many loan companies take on people with bad credit or no credit because they are going to make a profit from the interest rates they charge anyway and why the good/bad credit thing is so irrelevant when applying for a loan generally. Very few loan companies turn away poor credit score customers as long as they are working or own a home.

In your case, you should really have no problem at all in getting a loan if your salary is that good and lenders will snap you up pretty quickly.

EMILE --- Read this as you have two of of replying to your question, they have been reported to yahoo my me, remember the following

This person is running a scam – it is a Nigeria Scam....
This person has multiple identities and they are for the following and they use many different email addresses and scam people.
(1)The business they suggest – Does Not exist what so ever
(2)They request the persons Banking Details and Name
(3)They all approve a loan but give a story about you needing to pay some sort of fee first.
Advance Fee
Just as the name suggests, Advance Fee Fraud is a specialized fraud committed using fake claims, identities, positions and in most cases, enticing, but non-existent proposals. Victims are made to pay money in “advance” before the “deal” is done – hence the name ‘Advance Fee Fraud. In an attempt to tackle the malaise, the Federal Government of Nigeria through provisions in Section 419 of the Criminal Code came up with punitive measures to deter and punish offenders. The Advance Fee Fraud section deal mainly with cases of advance fee fraud(commonly called 419) such as obtaining by false pretence through different fraudulent schemes e.g. contract scam, credit card scam, inheritance scam, job scam, lottery scam, “wash wash” scam (money washing scam), marriage scam. Immigration scam, counterfeiting and religious scam.

(Emlie - with regards to borrowing $1000 please contact your local bank and you maybe able to apply for credit card and it may help you, atleast by going to the bank you will not be scammed)

Hi Emilie

If you have a full time job and have been employed for more than a year you have a good chance of getting a loan from your bank, a checking account will increase your chances greatly. Do not go with same day loans, pay day loans and other like them there are hidden cost and time restraints. There is a answer here from Kidman H, claiming she is the CEO of a loan company, that will give you a loan without any problems. I looked in to just now (thank you ; ) and it seems you have to pay a fee with :: that your processing fee should be sent to one of our agent in Nigeria whose information is as follows. She ask that you not send the money to there NY or Cali office. That makes this possibly a scam and you would end up losing money that you don't have.
So go with your bank or try Capital One or others, interest rates should be going down thanks in part to our economy and don't go with same day or payday loans....
I hope that helps you in some way....
Take care and good luck....

ps. Kidman H if you look at her name better it is Nicole Kidman, isn't that the same name as Tom Cruises ex-wife?

Go to your bank and ask for a loan.

Tia
In my experience there are two types of Bad Credit Credit Cards. One is a secured card, and the other has a much higher rate of interest. Both can be used to rebuild your credit worthiness after getting back on your feet. Secured credit cards are great for rebuilding your credit. You send the credit card company a pre deposit amount set by the company<!--This amount will be equal to your credit limit. Pay over your minimum every month and send your payment in before the due date and you will build your credit up gradually. Never miss a payment, be late on a payment, or go over your credit limit even by a small amount.

You don't want the company to ever have to take from your pre deposit amount because they want you to handle your account just like you would an unsecured card. A great thing about this pre deposit amount that you send in is it can act as a savings account even earning a little-->bit of interest for you. After establishing yourself with the credit card company, they may decide to give you a unsecured credit card or increase the limit on the one you have with them without having to make another deposit. Secured credit cards are a good choice for anyone wishing to rebuild their credit history.
