Sure! There are several different options for you depending on your type of bank. Your bank might be able to just issue you a standard, low limit card. But if it doesn't, try to have a secured credit card. Meaning, you place in $300 in a stand alone account and you get a credit card with a limit of $300. It is a start and as long as you have been making your apartment payments, utility payments, etc. on time, then you should be ok.
Good Luck! |

why do you want credit you cant pay for if you aint got the money dont buy it |

Yes but you'll regret it. You shouldn't spend money that you haven't earned unless it's in the form of an investment such as buying a house or a car that will allow you to make more money than you currently do.
There's no quick fix. You need to work harder. |

You should be able to get a credit card no matter what. But your credit has to be good. Meaning, if you pay your bills on time and all that good stuff then you should have a good credit.
Go apply, see what happens. |

Credit depends upon your income. Perhaps a credit card with a lower limit of credit then somebody that would earn $100,000 a year. Nobody can get a credit card if they have bad credit though. Make certain you can afford the payment. |

If you have a low income they want you more because you can never pay back your revolving fees. Believe me, once one credit card company finds out you filled out an application, you will start receiving cards of all kinds in the mail. |

capital one give them to everyone but has high interest rate. |

Yes you can, so when you get an application by the mail just fill it out and send it back in their paid address envelope and keep on doing it you will be surprise one day you will see a card come to you through the mail but you have to fill each one you get and it dont cost anything to mail them back, just try it and let me know one day what happens, good luck. |

The best thing is not to get a credit card. You will be paying the highest rate of interest because your on a low income. It's very easy to get in debt. |

Yes, but you will need to meet the Credit card companies financial criteria, i.e.
Good credit history
No bad debt or CCJ etc |

Look, if you are low income PLEASE stay away from credit cards!!!!!!!!!!!! They offer nothing but years of debt and temptation. It's so easy to say 'Oh I'll just put this on it and nothing else' but I can guarantee it won't stop there. If you are on low income you probably struggle enough as it is, ask your self, can you really afford another monthly bill??? |

Most banks offer secured credit cards, meaning you must deposit an amount equal to your credit limit in an account with the bank. As you prove your credit worthiness the bank will increase your credit limit without you having to match the increase with security. I started out this way about 30 years ago with a 300 dollar crdit limit which is now at 42,000 dollars. |

If you are having difficulty in obtaining one then you might want to get a Cred Card - which is a pre-pay debit card here:

So far yes, banks will gladly get you into debt. In fact, I think they prefer poorer people because you're even more likely to only make the minimum payment and build up a debt that will enslave you to them for years. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but really you don't want to get a card. |

go to orchard bank. They have a card for everyone. Also, Capital One seems to give cards easily.
Good Luck. |
