Can i get rid of bad credit references off my record?
can reports be deleted ?

kate
Not deleted unless you can prove they are false .
All reports drop off at 7 yrs old (10 yrs for bankruptcy) .
Wait until they are 7 years old , then bye-bye !

check www.experian.co.uk as most banks and lenders will use them it cost about £2.50 for your credit history it will show you what you have defaulted on and how long it has to run before it is clear and will also show your credit rating and if there is any thing that you didn't do then it can help you clear your credit history

Only if the info is wrong then you can dispute it, if it's correct then sorry you can't you will have to wait 3 years for it to disappear.

Check this out. I bought this book a few months ago and it has a lot of information in it about credit repair. I would suggest anyone thinking about repairing their credit to take a look at it. You can get rid of bad credit references. You just need to ask, then if they don't give you what you want ask again. The credit bureaus always screw up cause they can't keep up with the millions of correspondence they receive. I disputed info in my experian file twice with no answer from the bureau. I'll let you know what happens next:

Deleting is not an option but improving the credit score works, I managed to improve my credit score 80 points in 2 months and hope to improve it other 50 in the next 2 months, all you need is a reliable consultant to help you, I have chosen this one:

and they performed quite well.
