probably not. normally, you would have to have a bank account at that bank. just call and ask |

if you go to the bank that the check is drawn from and the money is actually in the acct to cover the check, then i can't see how they wouldn't let you cash it. i would contact the bank by phone and ask what their policy is before actually making the trip to the bank thou. Don't for get your ID. Good luck and Happy shopping! |

Yes - assuming that the account the cheque is drawn on has the cash in it and that the cheque is not crossed and that it is your name payable the cheque... Bring two forms of photo ID as well. If the cheque is crossed you will only be able to lodge / deposit it into an account bearing your name. |

Yes. You will need proper identification and, obviously there must be sufficient funds in the account. |

As long as there is enough in the account to cover it. As long as it is made out to you. Patriot act laws and fed banking rules probably say you need to provide all sorts of ID though. |

Probably so, just have to have two forms of ID, and they will more than likely call the person you are cashing the check's account on, for verification purposes. If they can't get ahold of that person they won't cash the check given the amount of the check. |

Not at any bank that I know of.
Normally, you would deposit the check to your own bank account, and once the check clears, the funds would be available for withdrawal from your account.
Most banks and credit unions limit the amount of cash that may be withdrawn in a single transaction or a singe day. |

No. You'll need to have an account. Even then most banks will require that you have atleast enough in your account as the check is worth before they'll cash it for you. |

Yes, if the check is legit, but I wouln't carry around $3000 in cash. Help a starving college student (i.e. me). Send me some. Just kidding. But i really wouldnt carry around that much |

You most likely will need to go to a specific location. I know where I live you have to come to the downtown branch to get that amount of money. I will just call and they could tell you if they have that amount available or if you need to go to a specific location. |

It depends on the bank. Some have limits to how much cash you can get. Call them and find out. |

Probably not. You can deposit it and wait until it clears, but they won't give you cash on the spot unless you have money in your account to cover the loss if it bounces. |

I don't see why not unless $3000 isn't in the account. |

yes you can, but you will probably have to provide ID and a credit card, though (if you do not have an account at that bank. |
