Yes, and they charge an exchange fee to have the currency exchanged into the local currency from your native country's currency. |

|
yes, you can use your credit card in foreign countries. The exchange rate will depend on when the card actually charges you, and sometimes they add a fee for the servicing of the credit & exchange. |

You can use your credit card--VISA is preferred in most European countries, but they will also take MasterCard and American Express in most places. You should call your credit card company to ask about any special fees, and you should ALWAYS notify them about where you will be using it. Otherwise, they will think that it was stolen and might put a hold on it. |

You should be able to and there will be fees!
Virtually every credit card assesses an international transaction fee for purchases done outside the 50 states, and that could even include U.S. territories like Puerto Rico and the U. S. Virgin Islands. Visa and MasterCard charge a 1% processing fee and most card-issuing banks add additional fees as well (on top of the 1% fee levied by MasterCard/Visa).
This fee is generally a percentage of the U.S. Dollar value of the transaction. So, even if you paid 100 Euros for a meal that was actually $125.00 (U.S. Dollars), the foreign transaction fees will be assessed on the $125.00 amount.
An October 2007 survey of credit card issuers revealed the following foreign transaction fees:
* American Express - 2%
* Bank of America - 3%
* Chase - 3%
* Citi Bank - 3%
* HSBC - 3%
* Washington Mutual - 1%
* Wells Fargo - 3%
* Capital One - No Foreign Transaction Fee
* Discover - No fees. Accepted in China, the Carribean, Central America, Mexico and certain parts of Europe. |

yes, call the cs # on the back of the car and ask specifically about the country you're visiting. |

It will depend which country you live in but, yes generally you will be charged extra to use a credit card overseas. You will also need a card with a cirus or plus logo on the back.
For Australians, NZers and UK residents there are cards that you can put into credit and not pay for withdrawals - for more information see here: |

Yes, if your credit card is VISA or MASTERCARD it is accepted worldwide. And yes, they charge you a small fee for converting that money to your country of origin. |

Yes and is not extra fee, the credit card company just change the country you visit currency value for your country home currency. I was in Italy (euros) ant the credit card change the value: dollar to euro.
In this moment for one euro you have to pay US$ 1.40. |
