hi, i went to buy a car today at ANYTHING ON WHEELS the car was ok, but when i went inside to do the paper work they check my credit nothing came up so i didn't get the car, someone told me to get a SECURE CREDIT CARD from my bank that will help bill my credit, but thats going to take sometime whichen i need a car now, and i dont have no one to be my co-signer at the moment, and i cant trust any and any one with this...so am asking if anyone know of a car dealer that would give me the same rate like if a had credit or someone i could talk with that could help me out, pls...i live in Fort Lauderdale Florida...

There are many places that will sell you a car without credit and even with bad credit. You will need a down payment though. Just look around and find a hole in the wall place. You won't get the best interest rate since it will be your first car to go on your credit. You have to get started somewhere though. I suggest putting a decent down payment on the car anywhere that reports to the credit board (you can ask them). Then pay it off or pay on it for atleast 3 years. Once you do that then you have established credit and then you can go to a dealership and get a much lower interest rate. It is a long drawn out process but everyone has to start somewhere. Remember the larger the down payment the easier it will be to get a car. Which if you are like me - I do not have much of a down payment for anything so I had to start it this way. |

Try car palces that don't check credit, quick car places and then you can go to your bank and get a secured card. Or you can get a cosigner. Good Luck! |

LOL. Anything on Wheels is still in business? They are horrible. You are going to have to build your score. Take some cash buy a CD, take a loan against that CD and your bank should report your status to the credit bureaus. That is one of the quickest ways to build credit and neither you nor your bank is taking a risk. |

the only other thing to do is go to a "your job is your credit"shop. however beware. those shops target people with no credit or bad credit and inflate the finance prices to an unbelievable amount. best bet try to open 2 to 3 lines of credit for 6 months.get a credit card for only food purposes and pay it off every month. pay all your bills with traceable history. no money orders or cash. checks or online bill payare a good way to go. good luck. ladiereign. |

Unfortunately it takes time to establish credit. Sounds like you have a job. Are there any credit unions in your area that will allow you to join. they will take your payments by draft and usually give a decent rate. This will count toward your credit score. |

Go to your bank and ask them what they can do. You might take out a loan for an amount and use your savings account as collateral. Then you pay that off every month before it's due and meanwhile you are earning interest and paying off a loan that's like 2% higher. Earning2% paying 4%. Something like that. But shop around, not all banks like this kind of loan. |

Find a dealer who offers "Second Chance Credit". They'll shop around with different lenders to get the best rate that can be offered to you. I warn you though, the interest rate will still be outrageous. I bought a car with a 19% interest rate, I didn't have bad credit...I just didn't have enough credit history, which is the situation you're in.
You can still save a little on the interest if you opt to make payment bi-weekly, instead of monthly.
After a year of paying my loan on time, I went to the bank and got a lower rate that will take a year off my loan.
I didn't need a down-payment, but I did offer the first payment as one ($325). |

First of all, is there a reason that you should have a credit score? Have you had any credit at all? A car dealer will not give you a loan since you have not had any credit before.
There is no quick fix if you have no credit at all. What you should do is buy a used car with the cash that you do have. Then get a secure credit card. You will then start to establish your credit. Remember to pay every bill on time and in full or else your credit score will be hurt. |
