If they take you to court and get a judgment, yes they can.
They can also garnish your wages (if your State allows it) and file liens on any real property you may own like cars, boats, land and homes. |

yes. They can empty your ALL of your accounts, take your tax returns, garnish your wages, and basically leave you homeless. They don't care that you also have a child in the home and that you can't afford to pay 7/8th of your family income so you pay what you can. They only care about getting their money. |

Yes - get in touch with them and make a payment plan. If the child support is more than you can afford, go to court and ask for it to be modified. Otherwise, if you made the child, you pay for the child. It is that simple. |

Family law is generally state law, so the details will vary, but in general, yes, a court ordered support payment is a legal obligation and you can have wages and assets attached to get the payment. |

I think they can. At this point if you owe the government any money, you are screwed. They have access to everything except your toliet. LOL
Just be careful what you put in there. They may not be able to take it per say but they can surely know you have it and put your butt in jail if they can prove it. Remember, anything over $ 9,999 is automatically noted to the IRS. I personally think that now it's over 4 grand. Just for security. Good Luck. |

YES.
Whenever you owe the government money (and when I say government in this case, I mean state, county, and federal levels), they can pretty much do whatever they want to get the money you owe.
When I credit counsel my clients, I always say, "The government plays by their own rules". Unlike regular collections or charge-offs, they can withdraw from your bank account, automatically take your tax returns, garnish your wages, place liens on property and so on. It's best to square up with them now as opposed to be subjected to their wrath. |
