Can you get a loan with no credit with a co-signer??

vizco_inc
Yeas you can, but remember if you default on payments the co-signer is responsible..If you dont pay then its on the co-signer to pay.....and if they dont pay then both of your credit ratings will get screwed

ssbaustin
yes, you rely on the co-signer's credit

Rochelle N
Yes you can. When I first got my first car my dad co signed for a loan so I could get my car. My husbands father signed for his loan also.

Polecat
Yes, I co-signed for my Son in order to help him establish credit for himself. You can't get a loan without a positive credit history.

King Vista
Yes you can and I say this from experience.. Even if you have bad credit, but are able to get someone who has good creit to co-sign for you then the deal is as good as done because you are not using your own but the co-signers history.

yes you can as long as you have good credit

jamesnbarnes
If you are talking about a home loan, FHA will accept alternative credit lines such as utility bills, Cell Phone and rent history as credit lines. Wells Fargo has a good program for people just like you with no credit score at all, so yes, you can buy a home if you have the ability to pay for it. Take the house payment and if it and all of you other bills, ie credit cards or car payments, child support, etc. are not more than 42% of your GROSS income you can qualify.

I recently learn a way to get good credit history pretty fast without building it up yourself and you won't risk messing up a co-signers credit. Have a person with good credit add you to their credit card account that has been in good standing for at least 6 months except have the card go to them and have them cut it up so you don't get to use it. They are asked every month in each statement if they want to add someone so have them look at a recent statement. Then the account that you are now on will show good standing on your credit and for as long as the original account holder has had it not when you were put on it. Then you will have some good credit and people are more willing to take a chance with you. Make sure this is with someone you fully trust and they trust you because if their account goes in default it will reflect badly on your credit but you won't be responsible for paying for it. I hope I have been helpful

NO ! There usually has to be some financial history on record to do so.

yes, you can

American Blue Express credit Card: Apart from no annual fee feature of the American Blue Express it also gives cash returns on specific purchases. Users of the American Blue Express also enjoy protection against fraud for online credit card transactions. This card tries to right the various wrong notions about the American Express credit cards, one of which is that it is a credit card only for rich or those who have money to keep a credit card.
