Sure can scooby, I opened an account because certain survey companies that I do surveys for only pay through paypal, so long as you have a bank account, doesnt matter if its a passbook account, what they do is deposit 2 small amounts of money into your account to make sure that you have filled out the details properly, they'll be like 2 or 3 cents over a 5 day period, you then have to tell them how much was deposited and when, then they know that alls well, you can then start getting money transferred into you paypal account, then when you want to, just click on request payment (minimum is A$5) and it will be in your account and cleared within 24 to 48 hours or so, hope that helps mate, goodluck!!! |

Yes you can, you enter your bank account details and when you buy something the bank does an electronic transfer of funds by direct debit, it takes about 5 days.
If you use a credit card it is a lot quicker. |

Yes, you can link Paypal to your banking account. However, this does slow down many of the transactions since it takes more time to draw money from a bank account than it does from a Credit card. |

In the States you can...I have a link to my bank account, using the routing numbers. They take the money directly from my account. I use it for ebay a lot and haven't had a single problem. I've been using it for about four or five years this way. |

people who have told you no are wrong i have a paypal account and i do not have debit or credit cards when you buy somthing on ebay the money comes out of your bank account.if you buy on ebay the money is paid strait away then takes about 3 days to come out of your account |
