You need to open a Paypal account to use a debit card on ebay purchases.
However you can of course buy from sellers who accept cards by e-mail or over the phone.
But be warned, it is not very safe or secure this way !! |

You can use a debit card on ebay through paypal, which is the safest method. I use it, but not every listing has paypal as an option of payment, although if you do a search for the item, you should be able to find at least one listing that does use paypal as an option of payment. In order to sign up on paypal, go to payment options under ebay and there is a link to paypal, which will link your paypal to your ebay account. This is the way I did it, but if you have any more questions, either ebay or paypal should cover them. |

Of course you can, you just register it in your Paypal account. But, remember that a debit card is not a credit card, so you don't get the same level of protection as a credit card (insurance) if something goes wrong with the transaction.
A handy hint: Your cards are linked to your Paypal account, so if you have more than one card registered, remember to double check which card the payment is coming from before you hit the final commit button! |
