July 27, 2007. Has anybody gotten ahold of anybody in that office? I have been trying for three days to get in touch with them. I have had no luck. If you try them right at 9:00 am their voicemail boxes are full. Then they don't return phone calls. |

This is a SCAM! It's been a few weeks since I foolishly fell for this. If you already submitted to them your deposit (which you'll NEVER get back), file a report to the RCMP via RECOL. That is www.recol.ca. This is the best tool to use. I have used it to file another online fraud incident before and it works well. It provides you all the right tools to file a complaint for incidents like this.
For this case, be sure to file the complaint as "Advance Fee"->"Other Advance Fee Scheme".
Good luck! Maybe we'll get our money back soon!

I think by now they have closed up the fake shop and took the money and ran.
Call the Police and phonebusters and file a complaint with the BBB .Do it now dont wait any longer

July 30th-I have the same problem, been trying to reach them since July 26th, left messages, send emails and no body called me back. I also talked to a Thomas Baker and a Mark Reynolds, now when i call Marks number it's a voice mail for a Rachel something. I also had been told on the 20th that I would get my 500$ back. On the23rd I've talked to Mark and he said I would be receiving my $500 back by thurday the 26th and he would contact me on the 27th to do the money tranfer. Hasn't been done and we're the 30th and haven't received the $500 yet. What sucks about all of it is that we send them $500.00 and we think we lost it and we really needed the money. Today I filled a complain against them at the Better Business Bureau.
July 31st- I just called the 4 numbers I had, they are all no longer in service!!!!!!!!!
To all people that did business with them...PLEASE MAKE A COMPLAIN WITH THE BBB LIKE I DID YESTERDAY!

July 30th - I have also had no luck contacting anyone since last Thursday. I have spoken to a Thomas Baker, who also is not answering his phone. I also spoke to a Mark Reynolds, who said I would receive my refund by Friday (not so) and he would be in touch with me this past Friday to transfers funds. Not so. The customer service line is now answered by a Rachel Adams, (voicemail), who also never returned my calls. Over the weekend, I contacted Toronto Police Services, Communications, who suggested that I had in fact been scammed. This is very disturbing, as the $500 security deposit was a lot of money for us. We had made commitments based on their commitment to us. I have just left another voicemail with Thomas Baker, and if I don't have any responses by the end of today, will file a report with Toronto Police Services, forward them all paperwork, names and numbers, and they will follow up. It doesn't look promising.
Has anyone out there heard from these people? |

I too, was told I was going to be receiving my refund back as well as my so called loan on Thursday(yesterday) and have not received or heard anything. I have been trying to call them since last Monday and nothing!!!!!!!! Maybe next week their phone service will be gone. I am not expecting my money back. I live in Toronto and have taken a drive myself down to their so called office, which sorry to tell you all, but it just does not exorcist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless I made mistake and went to the wrong building. I asked one day what floor they were located on and the customer service rep stuttered and told me the 4th floor. I asked how many floors were in the building and he replied 7. A Financial institute downtown T.O especially on King St does not have any 7 floor buildings. If he said 50 or 60 I would have believed him.. Cant believe how stupid I was. Don't know why I bought into this just for a vacation. !!!!! |
