Great way to save money while not noticing it is to round up in your checking account.
If you paid $23.49 for groceries, subtract $24. Enter the right amount in the register for balancing purposes but subtract the rounded up price from the tally on the side. Only go by what your tally says. After a while, you'll be surprised how much you've saved without even noticing.
If you pay cash for everything, use only paper money and save all your change.
If you pay mostly by credit card, look into the new B of A card that rounds up your purchase price and adds that money to an account for you. |

Apparently, the way to save money is by paying urself first. You take a part of the money you get and stow it away for urself and resolve not to touch it. Pretend that it is some bill you payed where you cannot have the money back. That will give you more discipline on how you spend the rest of your money. Plus you have savings. |

Set up a budget - list the money you have coming in each month, the out going bills (rent, gas/electric, phone, etc) groceries, and entertainment - to see just what you are spending. Is there room to cut back on going out to eat - can you bring lunch 1-2 x/wk? Do you have to go the show - can you wait for the movie to come out on dvd and watch it with friends. There are many free and lost cost things to do, you just have to find what your interested in and do a little research.
If you work and your check is direct deposited, you can usually have the money disbursed into up to three different account. Your checking, your saving and mad money? Try giving yourself an weekly allowance and paying cash for everything - when it's gone...it gone!!!

You can take $100 from every paycheck. Go to the bank and get a $100 bill and keep it in your drawer or a safe place. You are less likely to break $100 at Starbucks for a $3.50 latte than if you had a $20 bill in your wallet. |

If you save little bit of money every week you can acomplish you goal, Example do not spend on things you do need. Try to balance you need and wants. open a saving and checking account. Put the money you want to save in the savings and in the checking put the money for you bills. |
