You debit card is a credit card. To use it as a debit, you utilize your four digit PIN. To use it as a credit, you don't. Otherwise, they are one in the same.
The only thing that is different is if you have a plain ATM card - no Visa or MC logo on the card. This is ATM only, not debit OR credit. |

Not if you want to have money for tomorrow. Debit cards do not have the same protections as a credit card. One typo and your account can be history. Plus any bounce check fees you might also end up with. |
