Most credit has no annual fee. However, there are 3 types of fee that people have to pay.
1- Cards that give you mileage like Alaska airlines, USAirways, Asiana airlines, Hawaiian airlines etc.
2- Secured cards for people who don't have good credit.
3- Type of cards that target the wealthy or celebrities because they have access of airport lounge and ton of other perks. Their credit line is over $100,000.
Other than that, you shouldn't have to pay to use credit cards. I never have.
Go on bankofamerica.com. They have 400 different types of cards you can choose from. |

Yes there are. Shop around, you should be able to find a card that will allow 12 months of balance transfer with 0% APR, then after that anywhere from 4-12% APR. If you miss a payment your rate could go as high as 25%.
I highly suggest getting a credit card, but NEVER have a rolling balance, always pay it off every month. Maintaining this will help in purchasing homes, cars etc. |

If you have good / excellent credit-- you normally won't pay any of these fees. But if your credit is bad, you'll have a hard time avoiding "annual fees" (or other fees). You can compare a wide variety of credit cards for both types of credit at:

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK! |

If you obtain a credit card the best way to avoid large fees is to only charge what you can afford to pay off when the bill comes. Not only will you not pay alot of intrest on it if any you will help improve your fico score.
Ive often heard the best card to rebuild credit is the orchard bank card. They have lower fees and help improve your score. |
