Credit Repair?
Can anyone recommend a reputable credit repair company in the Arlington, Tx area?

You might want to use the following link to the FTC. This is a list of recommended credit counseling agencies to helpyou locate one in your area.
http://www.usdoj.gov/ust/eo/bapcpa/ccde/cc_approved.htm
Govt approved credit counseling agencies.

Those so called repair companies are not always the right choice and some will in the long run make things worse for you.
Avoid credit repair agencies that charge a fee to improve your FICO score by removing negative, but accurate, information from your credit reports. No one can force credit reporting agencies or lenders to remove accurate information from a credit report. Credit repair companies often take your money without delivering what they promise, or provide only temporary improvements of your score, sometimes by removing accurate information that will reappear later.

Here are some more links for you to research on how to handle your credit issues.

Once the damage is done, only time can repair your credit. Incorrect information can be contested which may improve your credit score. Take the money that the credit repair company would charge you and use it to pay off your debts.

Сredit repair workеd fine for me. I used this service - http://freecreditreport.sinfree.net - They disputed and removed lots of bad items from my credit report. As I know they provide service in TX.

Accurate negative information cannot be removed from your credit files.

There is only one tactic that "might" remove some negative entries..and this is something you can do yourself. Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act you have a right to request written validation of each negative item on your credit file. If they can’t validate the item, they must remove the item. Send a written request for each negative item on your credit file with this simple statement:

Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I am requesting written validation of this item.

Do this one at a time for each item, not all at once

I'd contact a mortgage person in the area. If anyone knows a credit repair facility, it would be mortgage people.

There are also companies who will report positive credit to your reports too.

I highly recommend you contact a company called ChurchHill Mortgage. They are an independent mortgage agency that I went through to buy my first house. They have a great staff there, and their brokers are very knowledgeable on how to improve your credit. Me and my wife followed their advice and within 4 months I had improved my credit score by 75 points and my wife improved hers by just over 50. That really saved us on our mortgage interest rate.

They have a website that you can look up.

honey u th only person who can repair u credit n u can simply start doin dat bi payin ur bills on TIME especaily credit card bills, unless u need help from companies who can help u pay off ur debt not repair i wouldn't recommend those companies because it could be idtfy-theft they will ask 4 ur personal info. n u do not want 2 give that out to anyone especaily over the phone,n internet datz a big NO NO!!! however i recommend get a credit card thatz for credit repair!!! APR might be higher than regular credit cards but it worth getting for credit repair, jus make a chrge on it once a month n pay tha bal. in full every month! good luck its dorable!!:}

Credit repair?

What are you trying to accomplish? No one can "repair" your credit except you.

Report any incorrect information on your report to the agencies, pay off any debts you have outstanding, and start using credit sparingly and pay it in full when you get the bill.
