No Dude, if you got the debt and you've had probs with payments then those bad debts are staying on your file for a minimum of six years, and that's after you've payed them off. If your still paying off some debts you can offer to settle them in full with a final settlement payment ! (that's reduced). You can write to the credit people (Experian & Equifax) get your report and then submit a lettle to them that will go on your file explaining why you had difficulty making repayments, like loosing your job etc. Bad credit can ONLY be removed if its a mistake. If youre not happy with whats said in your report then contact the people you originally borrowed from and let them know you think they have made a mistake, only they can amend your credit report. Nope. Credit history is untouchable unless theres a mistake in there or 6 years have passed from the date of entry. Companies that claim they can are scammers! |

There are companies that will, for a fee, help you get the credit bureaus to fix false listings in your credit history. You can usually do this yourself with some persistence.
Removing "bad" entries that are legitimate is not possible, unless the company that you pay is resorting to illegal means. Getting caught for something like this can set you up far worse than a bad credit rating.
The only way to repair a truly bad credit record is to take care of your creditors, and of course time. |

Somehow it doesn't seem like borrowing money and making payments has been a good plan for you. How about paying cash for things from now on. Then you don't have to have a good credit score. |

No its not, the companies that claim to be able to are con-artists, nothing more. If you go down some of the routes they suggest you'll end up with a CIFAS fraud warning on your credit history - then your fooked - good and proper. If you have defaults or ccj's registered against you the only thing you can do is pay them and ride out the 6 years that they stay on your history. |
