-If you can't get the loan, here's a site that can help you fix your credit in a simple, easy, and most importantly free form. Taking 5 minutes to fill out this form could save you hundreds of dollars. It helped me personally get away from my bad credit; I highly recommend it. |

Getting a loan for Xmas is a bad idea as a whole. If your credit score is bad because you're over your head in debt, getting a loan will only make it worse! If your score is low becasue you've recently paid off all your debts and you're awaiting your score to go up, a loan is still a bad idea. People, especially reatives, will understand if you have had a hard time or a bad year. Go to your supermarket and buy cookie dough, brownie mix, cake/cupcake mixes...drop a fraction of what you would have spent for gifts and physically make something as a gift!! Who would say no to a giant box of homemade cookies?? Bake something for your mom or maybe give her a handmade gift certificate for 12 dinners that you will cook for her. Tell them you'll make it up next year. And if they get upset...they are not only NOT good family/friends, they are forgetting what Christmas is about. If they are stuck on the material items, then whatever you got them this year probably wouldn't be good enough anyway. |

Well a loan to get you through Christmas is not a brilliant Idea.
Explain to your friends and relations that you're financies are not good right now.
Sell a few items or do a car boot sale to sell of any old junk you no longer need. If your credit rating is so bad, why borrow money again?
Buy what people want and not what you think they might want, and save money by offering a service to relatives for presents, offer a massage or wash up for them, or offer to wash their cars for 3 months.
Borrowing sucks!

if u are truly desperate provident will do loans , but it is an extremely high rate of interest and u pay them back weekly at a fairly low amount .This is only if desperate , personally i wouldnt advise it |

if your credit is bad i wouldnt even try and get a loan...due to thats more money you have to owe better to pay off your bills ..instead of adding on or get it fixed threw a law firm |

My advice would be to not get yourself into any more debt - especially for Christmas gifts, its just not worth it. Try going to the Citizens Advice for information/guidance to help you out of debt. Take care :-) |

Maybe you should talk to your bank. Get them to look at your income and outgoings, do a consolidation loan to pay off the credit cards and any other loans and make it over a longer period to make it more manageable. Their are now a few credit companies that advertise on TV that will arrange this for you. "Yes Loans" will give you the loan against your house but at a high rate of interest.

my credit rating is shite as well.i won't be buying many presents this year,as i can't afford it either.best thing to do is not bother with a loan,just explain to family and friends that you're not able to afford presents this year.if you try for a loan,then you're just gonna be paying it back for god knows how long and have nothing to show for it yourself.that's the trouble with christmas,people just feel under pressure to spend money they haven't got just to keep others happy. |
