i think that probably means that you can only buy things that are in american dollars. that makes sense to me because then the seller does not have to do any conversions and neither does the card company.

I'd say that if your buying it online, then it's probably ok... as if you think about it... you are still online... Also, they probably were refering ot the fact that you can't exchange the funds to a different coin... so... as long as you buy it american, it should be fine...
Worse case that would happen is that you would try it and it would tell you that you can't use it on that...
