Did my coworker get what he deserved?
About a month ago I pissed off one of my coworkers and he called me a c*nt. I am not one to get mad, just even. So I let it go, knowing that his time will come. So...low and behold a creditor just called here to verify his employment as he is trying to get a home loan. He stated on his application that he makes $20/hr and that he has been with us for four years, which is all true. But I kinda snickered and said "He is such a liar, he only makes $12/hr and has only been here for about a year". She was baffled and thanked me so much for my help. Was that wrong of me or did he get what he deserved?

no that's not what he deserved. How can you call that getting even when he called you something nasty because YOU did something wrong in the first place. You could have ruined this guys life. You admit that you were the one who started this, you are just evil.

Romans 12:17 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. (18) If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. (19) Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." (20) To the contrary, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head." (21) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Matthew 15:18 But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. (19) For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.

You are a classic example as to why people shouldn't piss co-workers off.

Okay he called you a **** so to get even you decided to act like one and damage his possibilties of obtaining a home loan. Not only that but you pissed him off to begin with...the way it seems now he should have called you a hell of alot more. This individual has obviously worked hard and because you are such a brat you act like a complete *****...I hope you seriously get whats coming to you and HE WILL FIND OUT...I hope you are fired! GROW THE **** UP!!!!!!Why don't you read what you wrote you did start it and Oh yes sweetheart you can be sued....

banana8
No, that was very rude on your part to do that. There are other ways to get even with people without messing with serious things in their lives. I actually can't believe anyone would really do what you did! The nerve! Poor guy- no matter what he did, you shouldn't have LIED and caused him to probably not get a home loan. Reverse the situation, if you were him, how would you have felt?
Wow, you are a bitter person. And what is so funny to laugh about it??? I dont see anything funny...

Mexichica817
ur so mean that was really wrong of u

I think that you went too far. I don't think one insult is deserves a man losing his house loan. And, as someone else said here, you could get sued.

can you say felony? You better hope the mortgage company doesn't tell him (all he has to do is show his pay stubs) you could very easily go to jail for that
