Yes and anyone who doesnt care is either dead or living in cloud cuckoo land (or possibly on benefits - though that wont last much longer either).
Not understanding a problem does not make it less of a worry for an individual and should be the impetus needed to find out more.
Basically if things go on as they are we will be having a Dickens type Christmas and a very bleak future. No more holidays, no more designer bits and bobs in fact probably no more shopping at all for a lot of people and begging in the street or going through bins will be the norm.
I forsee benefits reducing at a rate of noughts and eventually disappearing. I see people fighting over any patch of land where they can grow a spud to feed their kid and I can see a lot of people who have had a very cushy life till now dying through the inability to do anything for themselves except pop a ring pull on a can, roll a joint or get pregnant.

Unemployment is about to sky-rocket. That cant be a good thing, "even" for someone as unbovvered as you!!
The government is trying to ensure that millions of people's savings and pensions will not vanish. That may not affect you, but it affects (or will soon affect) almost everyone else in the country directly or indirectly. Still, if you have few savings and a safe job then you should be affected relatively little. I myself am not too worried. At least houses will be a lot cheaper to buy in 12-18 months. |
