It depends on your credit and the credit card you have. If you have good to excellent credit, you should be able to get credit cards that wont have a monthly charge but can have annual fees (usually $50), but if you have poor credit or your trying to rebuild your credit, your most likely not going to get approved on the credit cards that has monthly charge ($5-$10) even though you dont use the card. This is because they want to be able to report to credit bureaus that theres always an activity on your card and that your making payments on time. |

It really depends on the card. I don't have such good credit, so the credit card I have charges me $5/month just to have the card. Most major cards for people with good credit do not have monthy charges and only charge a finance charge if you carry a balance from month to month. The best way to know if you are getting charged a monthly fee is to check your disclosers. |

Some of them do. Check the small print. Make sure you check for hidden charges. And if you get a card, try to pay the balance in full every month to avoid interest charges. The interest is based on the purchase date not the statement date. |

They don't charge interest, but some cards have an annual fee whether you use them or not. Others don't. |

Depends on the contract.
My brother came and told my parents while I was there.
After he told my parents the story, I fell off my chair laughing, that I got punish. My father send me to my room.
Here is the contract. The credit card contract was that you use the credit card every month, then you will not be charge any annual fee of $54 per year. That means if you missed using the credit card one month, you will automatically be charged $54 which will be divided among the 12 months. As the end result, my brother cancel the credit card immediately, and my father had to give me $40 cash for the unjustifable punishment. Or else my father was going to have to deal with me for the rest of the night. I had the right to laugh at my brother for being sooo stupid. |

I can tell you that some credit cards have an annual fee even if you use it or not. Look over the application to find out if you have either a monthly or annual fee. "Always read the fine print on everything you sign." It also depends on if you apply for a secure credit card to build up your credit. |
