There is no legal way to remove a bankruptcy from your credit report. If you pay money for this service, you are being ripped off.

Don't waste your money....only the passing of time will erase the BK filing from your credit files. It will come off in 10 years as that's the max. amount allowed under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
These scam outfits that promise to remove BK filings & foreclosures are all the same...once they get your money...their phone lines (prepaid cell) are disconnected and you'll never hear from them again

Do you mean from your credit report?
Bankruptcies stay on your report for 10 years.
Any one who claims to be able to erase this from your credit roport is only out to get your money.

That's a load of crap and they are probably in Nigeria to steal your money. You cannot erase a bankruptcy or fix your credit record by paying somebody. If you want to burn some money, I'll take it.

NO....Dont buy into that. The only thing that can erase bankruptcy from your credit report is time and also paying your bills steadily.
The only thing that will happen with these people who say they can do it for 200 bucks is you will be out 200 more dollars and they will be ahead 200 dollars. No offense, but scams like that are what cause people to get into financial trouble and have to file bankruptcy.

Nobody gets off that easy :-p

Can't be done. Bankruptcies are court records. You'll be scammed.

In addition to that sounding illegal...like credit fraud or something..it sounds somewhat shady.. like you might get ripped off! Be careful if you do decide to go this route

No one can "erase" a bankruptcy from your records. The credit reporting bureaus will report it for 10 years. However, bankruptcy is a public record and that will outlive you, your children, and grandchildren.
