Maybe you should look into someone fixing your credit first and then buying a car. I got my credit cleaned up and I went from a 493 credit score to a 691 in just 35 days, then from 691 to 743 in another 30 days. Now I can buy just about anything I want to at 0-3% financing. |

I agree with the Best Answer about going to a Buy Here Pay Here lot. If you have more time to shop around, look for a car lot that reports to the credit bureau. Otherwise in a few years, you could be in the same situation you're in now. |

It might really save you some money to just get an automobile loan price online to verify what todays rates are. You might be pleasantly happy. Also if your credit is not good, a lot of online loaners are more willing to work with you.
What I always tell friends is that an online quote at http://auto.lowratetoday.com is the way to go. |

Most banks will do special financing. You just have to ask for it. The intrest rate will be very high, it is usually 25%, but if you are that desperate for a car, then you will have to do it. Another alternative is, going to a Buy Here, Pay Here lot. They usually require a large down payment, but the payments are usually low and make payments. Most of these types of lots I have gone to have descent prices on the cars, and the cars are usually fairly nice. Best of luck to you! |
