Do you mostly use cash, write checks,or use a credit card to buy things??
I always use my debit card......i rarely use cash,or write checks unless i am paying a bill.I don't have any credit cards so if i don't have the money in my checking account, iwon't buy something till i get the money.

I use my debit card for most things. I will write my cleaning lady a check. I use very little cash, mainly for parking. I use Bill Pay for everything else.

kissmymiddlefinger
I am pretty much all debit card here too.

I use a debit card for just about everything. cash is too easy to lose or get stolen and credit cards charge interest.

OnlyOne
I like using the debit card as well because I can see where the money is going opposed to using cash, plus the funds are out of sight, out of mind almost instantly. With checks, I pay the bills that I can't pay with cash or debit...like rent and daycare.

I use my credit card for gas once a month and pay it off when I get each bill.....

You are smart. Cash is king i use cash.

STEVEN F
Congratulations, you are in better shape financially than most of the US. Keep up the good work.

I only write about 3 checks per month. If those bills could be paid on-line without losing the paper statements, I'd stop writing them. I quit using credit cards last month and plan to have them paid of by year end. I prefer cash to the debit card. I tend to spend less.

dragonfire
debit
same as cash / check but clears instantly

golferwhoworks
debit card

csucdartgirl
Cash. There is no reason to have your personal information "out there".

KP
I don't buy anything unless I have the money right then, I have one credit card and if I ever use it I pay it off when the bill comes

Ms. Angel..
Cash or checks. My checks only have my first name initials and Last name, address. No phone number or DL number on it.
