Yeah. The average American owns 8.6 credit and/ or debit cards. It's awfully tempting to get carried away, especially when you are issued a brand new card with a fresh credit line. |

yeah... but just because it's common doesn't make it acceptable! Living on credit cards is a HUGE mistake. Don't even get a credit card... get a job and live according to your means. If your job doesn't pay enough, find a better one... Saves your whole family a lot of trouble to just do things the simple way, instead of building up unsurmountable debt that will haunt you the rest of your life. |

I think it's about a 50/50 split. There are people that live on their credit cards because they have low income and live paycheck to paycheck. This will lead to disaster.
There are just as many people that use their credit cards responsibly for everyday purchases and pay them off before the due date like you should. |
