Yes, there are plenty of things to do online and make money. I work from home exclusively and I don't sell anything. I pay my mortgage, taxes and have a fairly comfortable life.
Can you write? Sell articles or stories. Are you a fast typist? Transcribe. Do you make crafts, earrings, etc.? Sell it on Ebay, Etsy, etc. The problem is (and this is not directed towards the person asking the question) is that most people don't put nearly enough time and energy into working from home. They find out about one position, apply, never hear back and get discouraged. Or, they sign up for the first E-book they see that promises a list of 1,000 work-from-home jobs. Yeah, but what did they end up doing with that information?
You need to have a good resume that shows professionalism, and it has to highlight skills that would benefit a home based company. Times are tough right now so the competition is pretty steep, so decide if you want to work for someone else or if you want to be a contractor that offers your services to businesses and individuals. |

Do you really believe that you can make money online?
Go ahead and try - and enjoy crying and regretting that you could be so naive.
You need high - in demand skills.
And even then you have to go through an employer and interview to work from home.

Unfortunately there ARE so many scams out there and it takes a really long time to just learn the basics of what you need to know before you even begin to make money on the internet. I'd start learning the basics with Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge. You can find it at http://www.ThirtyDayChallenge.com. It's free and a great place to start learning the basics.
Don't get sucked into buying everything that is promoted regarding making money on the internet. You'll lose more than you'll ever make. If you do buy something, make sure you follow through completely. |
