A reversed (or reverse) entry - and you would need to contra them by making a negative debit/credit (as applicable) before posting them the correct way around!

It's just a simple clerical error and more specifically, a posting error. It's not a transposition error. A transposition error is when you post $789 as $798 or $1,253 as $1,523, i.e. the digits are transposed. A true transposition error will always throw up a difference which is exactly divisible by 9 (e.g. $1,253 - $1,523 = $270 divided by 9 = $30, an integer or a whole no., without decimals)
