It almost sounds too good to be true, but it is true and you can get your report there with no strings attached except that you can only get it one time per year like the name suggests.

If you have applied for credit, and as a result of a credit report turned down, you can write that credit bureau and get a free credit report. Note that requesting too many credit reports also affects your credit scores at some bureaus.
