only if you keep it up todate and balanced. Not really it wont help, but you must work at repairing your credit. Keep everything paid up and never miss any payments on anything.
NO ONE can repair your credit regardless of their claims.
it's something you must do. There are so many scams out there..."we can repair your credit." it's BS. don't fall for any of them. You are in control you must keep everything in order.
And it wont happen over night. it takes a LONG time to fix bad credit. |

It's no going to repair your credit, but having a revolving account in good standing over the long term can be beneficial.
Emphasis on the good standing part. If you're not financially responsible, stay far away from credit cards. |

It would certainly help, but 40% apr is astronomical. If you miss paying one payment on time you are in a world of hurt. I'd check around for something better. |

Absolutely. You're building a credit history.
The longer the history with good payments, the better the score will get.
It's 30% of your score.
I think 40% is way over the top, but if it's all you can do, use it till you can get a better rate. |

40% ...man thats a crime ... i would look around for something a lot easier to handle than that theft .... there is too many cards u can get that are are lot better and yes it helps in a huge way .......but pay off immediately ....try a get a couple of cards ... will take time to boost credit rating but it will happen again if cards are paid off complete each month and on time!!! |

if you make payments on time
use it regularly
and don't pay off everything you charge in less than 60 days because it will take at least that long for a financial transaction to show up on you credit report. If you pay off transaction before that, then it will probably not show up. |
