Yes you do need one. Any family or estate agent solicitors will help you write one out. You will have life insurance to go with the house so all this needs taken care of, if either you or your husband die or even if both of you die, the assets need to go to someone. Decide first if anyone else gets a share if you both die and decide how much each gets. When you go to the solicitor they will ask whats going to who including all the different senarios like if only 1 of you die or if your benefactor (the person who gets your stuff) dies etc. They will charge you for the actual will, I paid about £36 a few years back, dont know how much it will be now. It's very important you do this asap, and it can be changed anytime too.

Hope this helps x

Kelsey
Of course you need a will. What will happen to your kids if you and your husband both die?

Sassy
YES, BUT YOU CAN DO A JOINT WILL

Make out a will anyway. You never know what may happen in your life-a famous guy once said, "Map out your life but do it in pencil." Your lives are just getting in gear, your financial situation may improve and any decent parent wouldn't want their kids fighting over their estate after they die.

Everybody should have a will. Especially if you have children.

The Dragon
Definitely get a will made out - you can have a basic one that doesn't go into much detail but it will provide for your children should anything unfortunate happen.

It doesn't cost very much and can save any surviving relatives an awful lot of trouble.

u sure do ! if ,god 4bid,one of u should die without a will, the other will not necessarily get his/her estate-it all really has to be written out .if both of u died ,u need to have stated in ur wills, who will then assume the care of ur children, and u need to leave ur money and house in trust of someone(grandparents, lawyers, etc.)who will manage the sale of the house and the money the children will inherit(be it little or a lot.)if u die without this,u could have family members fighting over custody of the children,or parting them to live with different family members,or if no family,an orphanage!wills would help ur children,so pls do write one!

Everyone needs a will.

Ilkie
As everyone has said; yes you should make out a will. Please don't be tempted by the companies that offer "discounts" for joint wills.
See a solicitor for peace of mind.
You don't have to be rich to make a will but you need to think about the worst scenario: who do you want to look after your children etc.
Wish you both a long and happy life.

Debt Free!
everyone should have a will regardless of your assets.

Your grammar, punctuation and spelling are a disgrace.

'Do my husband and I need a will?', and 'unfortunately'.
