pay with on-line banking and they will get it straight away - even so I would of thought there's plenty of time for them to get it and clear it by the 12th even if you mail it to them tomorrow |

you have more than enough time even if you pay it in the post office i have just looked at my statement and it says for post office payment pay by The 4Th and it is due on the 8th so it only takes 3-4 day by them and they seam to be the slowest
hope this helps |

You should call the credit card company that you need to pay tell them that you thought you paid it but you just found out that you didn't... they should give you an extension... I do that all the time... good luck... |

pay over the phone with a debit/switch card. It's added to your account straight away. |

is it is internet backing, it takes up to 3 days, check on the 3rd day at midnight .
If it is Lloyds tsb: pay it online through internet banking, it will take 5 days to show up/reach but it will have the next day on there: i.e
pay it in the net on 23.09.06 on the 30th sept it will come up but have the date paid as 24.09.06.
HOPE THIS HELPS |

well, if you pay on the internet it will post tomorrow on the internet as paid, bank wise if you do it before 2:00 pm sometimes it does post on the same day, but sometimes it takes 24 hrs. Now if you are mailing this payment, today is the 4th you have time. And if is a late day then yes they will charge you the late fee. now u can call and talk your way out of the 30.00. |

ring them and tell them
if you pay it using online banking, it should only take 3 working days so they will have payment by end of 10th and you have no worries |

Do it now and stop going on about it. |

Are you kidding? The CC companies don't give a hoot... you are late 20 minutes... they will jack up your interest rate and minimum payment already went up... whatever little deal they had with you is dissolved and now you are just like they wanted you to be... a high interest, high balance..never going to pay it off.. customer.
Sorry, but that's the truth. CC Cos entice us with the great offers...but sooner or later... we screw up... and the reality hammer comes down |

There is always a grace period on all accounts --so yes you are still ok if you are not 30 days late no bad credit will be posted |

They just might charge you with interest. Credit cards enjoy when you are late paying them, simply because they chrge you more. Of course the payment will be in time, it always is, it is just larger. |

Worst case scenario - post tommorrow morning 1st class. Arrives there the 6th - Friday, needs 3 working days to clear.mon, tues, wed - 9-11th, bingo-in on the 12th. No worries. If you are paying over the counter then the 3 working days to clear will start on Friday and be clear by Wed. |

Yep, should do.
You can:
phone and explain that you've just got back from a business trip and the cheque is in the post. Makesure they type it in somewhere so you can prove it when they **** it up and charge you £30
Stay on-line now and pay it.
Phone them up to see if they take debit card payments over the phone.
Or, take it tonight to the main post office so it catches todays post. Normally these can be as late as 8PM. Worth doing for £30 ? |

look over your bill sometimes you can pay online for free and it will definately get submitted online in time not so sure about mail... |

If you read your bill it will say "allow 4 working days" it should clear. In future i suggest you pay via internet banking. If it is the same bank that issues your card it will go in immediately.
Good luck |

yeah as long as you don't send a cheque. it takes maximum 5 days normally |

I don't know about in the UK, but here in the states if the bill says it is due on the 12th, you have until the 22nd to pay the "normal" amount...if it is after that you then pay a late fee
you can also call them and tell them you had a brain moment and are making the payment tomorrow
if it takes more then 7 days to get from the post office to their office...Royal Mail is really slow |

Yes, tomorrow is fine, - you have plenty of time. |

Blumming heck love, is that all you have to worry about. It will get there in ample time, stop worrying |

Depends on how you are paying it. The quickest way would be to ring the credit card company and pay over the phone by switch or something. Then at least they would know you had tried to pay |
