If our company gets paid on the 15th and last of the month. When those days fall on a weekend we get paid that friday....so if new years eve is a holiday and falls on a monday do i get paid on the 28th which is a friday? or do i get paid on the 31st? we have direct deposit
I remember having this issue at a company that I worked for and we had to wait until the next business day. Which was the 2nd. (They were horrible and never follow the rules). However, by it being the end of the year, I would think that your company will pay you on the 28th. Paying you in January will put you into the new fiscal year.

28th unless your bank or work is open the 31st. I think most places are only closed on the 1st.

Usually you will get paid the last full day the bank is open before the Holiday, direct depositers will get paid earlier than those picking up their checks. If your financial institution is open on the 31st it should be then.
